Is there a better third-baseman in all of baseball that
David Wright right now?
In Saturday’s 9-3 win over the Marlins, David Wright
went 4-for-6 with a home run, three RBI, and even scored two runs.
His .402 batting average – leading the National League -- is
the second highest in team history after May 12, according to Metsblog. “Cleon
Jones was hitting .411 in the same number of at-bats in 1969. Wright also has
four consecutive multi-hit games,” the blog reports.
R.A. Dickey earned his fifth victory, one behind the league
leader.
The win is a good excuse to use the Mobile Victory Flag as Caroline
practices driving for our trip to the library.
